Some client relationships last for a single photoshoot. Others grow into friendships and years of memories. The Finley-Weringo family is one of those special stories.
I first met the family in 2021 when Chelsea’s mother, Edith, reached out after a photographer became unavailable shortly before Chelsea and Sam’s wedding in Montana. At the time, I was living in California, but I made the trip to Montana on short notice to help capture their special day.
What started as a wedding soon became much more. Over the years, I have had the privilege of photographing family portraits, graduation photos, horse photos, and other milestones for multiple members of the family. I’ve watched their family grow, celebrated achievements with them, and documented moments they can look back on for years to come.
One of the things I appreciate most about working with the Finley-Weringo family is the trust we’ve built over time. Creating a comfortable environment for children, teenagers, adults, and family members with different personalities and needs has helped make each session enjoyable and natural.
Today, Chelsea and Sam continue building their family, and I am honored to continue documenting their story. Their journey represents exactly what KGE Photography is about: building lasting relationships and preserving memories through every stage of life.
