At KGE Photography, we don’t just shoot pictures — we capture stories. To keep sessions stress-free and respectful, here’s how booking, payments, delivery, and everything in between works. This policy applies to all sessions unless a custom agreement is provided (like weddings or Gold shoots).
🗓️ Booking & Deposits
To lock in your session, a non-refundable deposit (up to 50%) is required.
No deposit = no guaranteed time slot = no shoot on the calendar.
Your deposit:

Secures your date, time, and locked-in package price

Confirms our agreement

Lets us treat your session like the priority it is
Remaining balance is due on or before the shoot date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept:

Credit/debit via Wix invoice (2.9% + $0.30 processing fee may apply)
Avoid sending payment through any link unless we’ve confirmed the method. Online systems can take time for verification.
⏳ Turnaround Time
Final galleries are usually delivered within 14–21 business days, depending on the season, package size, and editing needs.
Sessions with 350+ final photos (like weddings or full-day shoots) may require 30–45 business days for completion.

If you’re the type who likes to be involved, we’ve got you.
We offer a guided selection session (aka “picking out the photos”) where you can review unedited previews and choose your favorites before final delivery.

Sessions typically take 15–45 minutes, depending on the size of the shoot. It’s great for those who want more control or peace of mind.
Trust the process? Let the artist pick. But the option’s there if you want it.
⏰ Late Arrival & Parachute Time™ Policy 👉 [UPDATED]

Some packages (such as Gold sessions) include a built-in Parachute Time™ buffer (15–30 minutes, depending on package length).

If a package does not include Parachute Time™, late arrivals result in a direct loss of session time. Sessions will still end at the originally scheduled time with no refund or extension.

If a client communicates within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, Parachute Time™ may be used to protect the session. Any portion of Parachute Time™ used for late arrival will reduce flexibility for other needs during the session.

If no communication is received within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be canceled, and the deposit will be forfeited (unless an emergency is documented).
⚠️ Rescheduling Policy (All Sessions)
Life happens — but rescheduling must be handled clearly, promptly, and respectfully. This policy applies to all sessions, including weddings, unless a custom written agreement states otherwise.
🔄 Standard Rescheduling (Non-Emergency)
Rescheduling for personal or non-emergency reasons (work conflicts, finances, fatigue, scheduling mistakes, etc.) is permitted under the following conditions:

A 25–50% rescheduling fee may apply, depending on season, notice, and demand.

If travel has already occurred, the Client must reimburse all travel costs (gas, lodging, flights, etc.).

Reschedules must be requested as soon as possible.
-
If no new date is confirmed within 24 hours of rescheduling notice, the deposit may be forfeited.
-
If a Client stops communication during the rescheduling process, the deposit and any payments may be lost.
Clear, honest communication keeps everything running smooth.
🤒 Illness-Related Rescheduling (Client or Photographer)
If either the Client or the Photographer experiences flu, COVID, or another contagious illness near the scheduled session date:

A free reschedule will be offered.

A new date must be confirmed within 48 hours of notice.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.
If no new date is confirmed within 7 calendar days:

The deposit may be forfeited or
-
A 25% penalty of the full package price may apply, depending on circumstances and season.
This policy exists to protect health without allowing indefinite postponement.
🛑 Emergency Exemptions
Emergency exemptions may apply with proper documentation, including:

Medical emergencies

Immediate family emergencies
-
Accidents or extreme, verifiable circumstances
Approved emergencies may allow rescheduling without penalty, at the Photographer’s discretion.
🚫 Abuse & Communication Clause
Rescheduling policies are designed for genuine situations — not repeated delays, avoidance, or uncertainty.
• Repeated rescheduling, lack of response, or failure to confirm a new date may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
• KGE Photography reserves the right to decline future service if rescheduling policies are abused.
🌦️ Weather, Safety & Golden Hour
Shoots will be rescheduled without penalty for:

Dangerous weather

Temperatures over 100°F or under 10°F

Unsafe road conditions or natural disasters
-
Public health emergencies or active pandemic conditions
If long-term delays happen, rescheduling will pause until both sides agree it’s safe. Both parties must stay in communication.

We do not outsource editing, hand work off to third parties, or rotate photographers behind the scenes. This ensures creative consistency, emotional continuity, and a finished gallery that feels intentional — not factory-produced.
When you book KGE Photography, you’re hiring a personal creative experience, not a production line.
What Development Includes

Reviewing and culling hundreds (or thousands) of RAW images

Selecting the strongest moments that best tell your story

Color correction, exposure balancing, and tonal consistency

Skin tone refinement and light retouching

Distraction cleanup (stray hairs, minor blemishes, background issues)

Storytelling flow across the full gallery

Exporting, organizing, and delivering files in multiple formats
This process requires focus, physical comfort, and creative clarity. It cannot be rushed without sacrificing quality.
⏳ Health, Recovery & Quality-Control Timing
Because KGE Photography is an artist-led, single-creator studio, health matters.
If Kevin experiences illness (including flu, COVID, or physical conditions such as back pain or injury that make editing unreliable), development timelines may be extended to protect the quality of your final images.

In these cases, delivery may extend up to 30 business days, depending on recovery and project size.

This is not neglect — it is a quality-first decision.

Communication will always be clear and proactive.
The goal is simple:
Your photos receive focused, thoughtful attention — not rushed edits just to meet a date.
🎨 Creative Consistency & Final Direction
Editing is approached as storytelling, not batch processing.

Emotional impact is prioritized over technical perfection alone

Not every image is edited in isolation — the set matters
Client feedback is welcome, but final creative decisions rest with the Photographer to preserve the integrity of the work.
💾 File Delivery & USB Drives
Final images are delivered digitally via:

CloudSpot online gallery (active 30–60 business days, depending on package)

Google Drive or WeTransfer (available for 30 days)
USB options:

Purchase a USB drive (package price + tax), or

Bring your own USB, but it must be:

USB 3.0 or higher

Formatted and empty

Delivered before your gallery is finalized

Be sure to back up your photos — reuploads are not guaranteed and may include a fee.
📤 What’s Included in Your Final Package
Your finished photo delivery will include two clearly labeled folders:

Cooked Folder 🔥
Photos with the KGE Signature Stamp (a light, clean brand mark), exported in a phone-friendly resolution. These are perfect for everyday sharing on mobile, social media, or quick previews. They load fast, take up less space, and still look sharp on-screen.

Clean Folder ✨
The same images in full-resolution with no branding or signature. These are fully developed, print-ready files ideal for professional use, large-format printing, or archiving.

📁 Delivery Notes – CloudSpot, Google Drive & WeTransfer

CloudSpot is used only for delivering Clean, full-resolution files.

Depending on the subject or session type, you may also receive a public CloudSpot gallery link (great for sharing events with friends or guests).

This public link may automatically attach the KGE Signature Stamp to any images downloaded individually.

However, your original full-res Clean files are available separately via the private download link provided in your email — with no signature attached.
-
For clients receiving files via Google Drive or WeTransfer, both Cooked and Clean folders will be included in a zipped folder or clearly labeled directory.
🎨 Style, Wardrobe & Behavior
You’re hiring an artist — not a button-pusher.
🎨 Artistic Style (Editing Styles Acknowledgment)

You’ll receive the best, hand-picked images

Photos are edited in KGE’s bold, vibrant, emotional style

Light retouching (skin, color, distractions) is included
-
Heavy edits (liquify, body shaping, etc.) available only by request and additional charge

By booking a session, the client acknowledges they have reviewed KGE Photography’s portfolio and understand the editing style provided.
🎭 Storytelling & Continuity

KGE Photography is an artist-led service. Creative decisions regarding editing, storytelling, color continuity, and mood of a photo series are made with the client’s best presentation in mind.

For example, photos may be edited with consistent tones to maintain storytelling flow or a social media or gallery “carousel” look.

Client feedback is welcome, but the final creative direction rests with KGE Photography. By booking, the client agrees to trust this artistic judgment as part of the service.
👕 Wardrobe & Appearance

Clients are responsible for choosing wardrobe and makeup that photograph well.
-
Avoid products that cause unwanted shine, glitter, or reflective effects under studio or outdoor lighting. Shiny makeup may appear as sweat, oil, or discoloration in photos and may not be correctable in editing without additional fees.]

KGE Photography is not responsible for visible tags, stains, lint, poor outfit choices, or accessories/props that block faces.

Professional makeup artists are recommended for best results.
Plan ahead and ask for outfit advice if needed — we’re here to help before the camera clicks.
🖼️ High-Detail / Third-Party Editing

Requests for high-detail corrections (removing shine, fixing poorly applied makeup, wardrobe adjustments, heavy body modifications, etc.) may require outsourcing to a third-party retoucher.

These services set their own pricing, which is outside of KGE Photography’s control.

If third-party editing is required, the client is responsible for all additional costs and followed by their policies.
👥 Behavior Policy
If a shoot is disrupted by aggressive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior, we reserve the right to:

End the session early, or
-
Stop editing and deliver only completed work
No refunds will be issued in those cases. Respect goes both ways — we promise to bring our best if you bring yours.
📢 Client Communication & Accountability
If we’ve had a detailed conversation and you verbally commit to booking — saying you’ll “go to the bank” or “send the deposit later” — that’s considered a pending agreement.
If you disappear after committing:

Your deposit is still owed before booking anything again

KGE Photography may deny all future service

You may be blacklisted from working with us or any creatives in United Media & Arts / KGE Lifestyles Group
We get it — things change. Just communicate honestly and we’ll always work with you.
⏳ Package Commitment

All packages are booked for a set duration.
-
If a client chooses to end the session early or requires less time than originally booked, no refunds, credits, or discounts will be issued.

The full package rate applies since the reserved time has been exclusively blocked for the client.
💸 Refund Policy
Refunds are only issued if:
-
KGE Photography cancels and cannot reschedule, OR
-
There is a proven failure on our end to meet the agreement
There are no refunds after the final gallery is delivered — even if the client is unhappy after receiving their finished photos. Every session is edited with skill and care. If issues arise, talk to us early. A reshoot or discounted reschedule may be considered only after a respectful conversation.
📜 Model Release & Privacy
By paying your deposit, you agree to a light model release, allowing KGE Photography to share select images for portfolio, website, or social media.
If you want your images kept private, just let us know in advance — we’ll write up a custom agreement that respects your boundaries.
📸 “Unlimited” Photoshoot Packages — Exclusive Policy Add-On
Applies only to Unlimited Silver and Gold packages
The main KGE Photography Service & Payment Policy still applies to these sessions.
This add-on outlines specific details unique to how “Unlimited” sessions operate.
